Stop Sexual Assault in Schools joins more than 130 national, state, and local civil rights and education organizations in urging Congressional appropriators to stop the transfer of civil rights enforcement from the Department of Education to the Department of Justice. The organizations wrote, “This attempt to ‘move’ enforcement is just another effort to eliminate protections and deprive students of urgently needed support.”
