At school or anywhere
- Avoid engaging in harmful language, actions or “jokes.” Instead, call out microaggressions and harmful behavior.
- Bring the guide Not Just a Joke: Understanding & Preventing Gender- & Sexuality-Based Bigotry to your school or community organization and advocate for adopting its strategies. Share the recorded webinar with your school.
- Identify adults in your school, home, or community you can talk with if you believe peers are being manipulated by male supremacist beliefs or engaging in harmful speech and behavior.
- Create a SASH Club (Students Against Sexual Harassment) and Genders & Sexualities Alliance (GSA) to provide safe spaces for students to connect and build community.
- Explore and share SASH Club’s resources on a wide range of topics to reduce gender bias and misogyny.
